2008  AGM will be held in June at Salt Lake City , Utah, the home of the LDS Family History Library.


LOCH NORMAN / AGM - 2007

The 2007 AGM was held April 20-22 at the Loch Norman Highland Games  at Huntersville, North Carolina.
The two photographs below (left) were taken at Loch Norman, the others at the Greenville Games on June 9.

ST. ANDREWS / AGM - 2006

Our members looked forward to the 2006 AGM in St. Andrews, Scotland, with the greatest excitement.
The AGM was held at Balmuto Castle on Saturday, 26th August, 2006 at 3:00pm, at the conclusion of the 27th International Congress of Heraldic and Genealogical Sciences, and we encouraged everyone to bring their heraldic paraphernalia for display during the Congress and at the AGM.
The event ended with members and guests enjoying a conducted tour of Balmuto Castle, where the images shown below were taken. Some historical information about Balmuto Castle can be seen here.

JUNE 2006

The 2006 mid-year meeting was held on 10th June, 2006, at the new Greenville Scottish Highland Games. This was primarily to plan for and set the Agenda of the 2006 AGM.   Mr. Nicholas Williams, Chairman - GGSG & HF extended a cordial welcome to all SSA members meeting at the Games on June 9-10, 2006.

OCTOBER 2005

The Society's mid-year meeting was held at the Stone Mountain Highland Games on 15th October, 2005, at the Society's tent.  Among the decisions taken were plans for next year's mid-year meeting at Greenville, and to ensure plans were in place for the 2006 AGM at the 27th International Congress of Heraldic and Genealogical Sciences in St. Andrews (21-26 August).

GLASGOW HIGHLAND GAMES, KENTUCKY / AGM - JUNE 2005

We enjoyed the warm Southern hospitality and the weather (93 deg!) at the 2005 AGM in Glasgow, Kentucky.
The Chief of the Games was His Grace the Duke of Atholl, and the Honoured Guest of the Games was our Society President, the Rt. Hon. Robin Blair, the Lord Lyon.
Lord Lyon attended the joint meeting of the Board and Membership. Board members R. Squire of Rubinslaw, D. Macdonald of Castle Camus, and Capt. M. Lathrop were returned to the Board, and D. Ayre of Kilmarnock was elected to the Board. Captain Glen Cook of Kingerly was chosen as the new Chair and Col. Wm. Boswell as Vice-Chair. Col. Wm. Boswell will also serve as Commissioner for North America, and Kilmarnock as Commissioner for UK & Europe.

NOVEMBER 2004
Carrick
