Exhibition 1908
British railway poster advertising the Scottish National Exhibition in Edinburgh from May to October 1908 almost 110 years ago. Note the famous Firth of Forth railway bridge in the background which was completed in 1889 and opened in 1890 by the then Duke of Rothesay ( the future Edward VII ), the bridge also figured in the 1935 film "The 39 Steps", a Hitchcock thriller, based on the 1915 book by John Buchan, 1st Baron Tweedsmuir.
