Firth of Forth Railway Bridge
Recent colour photo of the famous Firth of Forth Railway Bridge which was completed in 1889 and opened in 1890 by the then Duke of Rothesay ( the future Edward VII ), the bridge is double tracked and also figured in the 1935 film "The 39 Steps", a Hitchcock thriller, based on the 1915 book of the same name by John Buchan, 1st Baron Tweedsmuir.
