A peer's Cap Badge
Here we have the bonnet or cap crest badge of a peer with his coronet. It belongs to Andrew Morrison, Viscount Dunrossil. Lord Dunrossil is a chieftain of Clan Morrison so the two feathers. Since the crest is also Lord Dunrossil's own crest, the crest is on a circlet rather than on a strap and buckle thus making the badge an armiger's badge as well.

A unique example of artistic workmanship, the badge was executed in sterling silver by Roddy Young of Inverness, one of the finest of goldsmiths who just happens to be from the Highlands of Scotland.

Editor's opinion: Roddy Young is nay cheap, but if you must have the Verra Best, Roddy is your man ! The fact of his being from the Highlands is an added plus. We can say from experience he goes the extra mile to please his customers.
