2. SSA Chairman's Badge
|
Here displayed is the SSA Chairman's Badge. The design and two feathers were approved by Lord Lyon David Sellar who indicated in mid-2010 he would allow the head of a recognized armigerous society the use of a two feather cap badge with the society's crest whilst in office. He suggested the use of the SSA's Arms within a circlet, as the SSA has no crest.
This cap badge was executed in sterling by Don Kimble of Atlanta, GA (d/b/a The Company Jewelers) and is displayed on the personal daywear tartan of then-SSA Chairman Colonel Wm. P. Boswell of Toberchurn, USAF (Ret.)
