At LO July 1954 ( Sir Thomas Innes of Learney was Lyon then ) with recognition of his son and heir and heirs hereafter as Robertson of Drumachuine. Education: Wolmer's Boys School an Munro College, Malvern, Jamaica.
Married I Jul 1927 Laure Constance, eldest daughter Seaford Fitzire Lindo,
Planter, St. James Jamaica. They had one son, Alexander Gilbert Haldane Robertson of Drumachuine born in 1938.
Langton George Duncan Haldane Robertson of Straun died on 23 Aug 1983, age 85, and was succeeded by his son Alexander Gilbert Haldane Robertson of Drumachuine.
The Robertsons of Straun are the direct descendants of the Celtic Earls of Athol.
W. F. Skene, the hisrorian, wrote: The Robertsons of Straun are unquestionablythe oldest family in Scotland, being the sole remaining branch of that Royal House which occupied the Throne of Scotland during the 11th, 12th and Thirteenth Centuries, and from which they can distinctly tracetheir descent in the male line."
