Bonzano 2
|
L to R Cardinal Bonzano and Cardinal Mundelein being driven in Chicago on the way to the Holy Name Cathedral in June 1926.
Cardinal Bonzano appears happy and relaxed and his host Cardinal Mundelein seems comfortable with how the event is proceding.
As an aside, Cardinal Mundelein was a luxury car collector. In this parade the two cardinals rode in a Minerva. Reportedly his everyday car was a Dusenenberg. He owned seven of them, three at one time. Mundelein rode in what would be similiar to a Rolls Royce.
