Blazon: Parted per chevron Vert and Or in dexter chief a garb Or charged with a Latin cross Azure and in sinister chief a pine cone also Or charged with an Eastern Rite cross Azure and in base an Apostolic rose, viz. a double rose the outer one of six petals Argent and the inner one also of six petals Or barbed and seeded Gules charged at its centre with a lymphad under sail Or the sail charged with a Latin cross inverted Gules; on a chief Or a raven contourné proper holding with its dexter claw a staff bendwise Argent ensigned with a fleur de lis Azure.

Bishop Peter Anthony Libasci the 10th and current Bishop of Manchester, NH was born in 1951 in Queens. NY. He earned a bachelor degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY and a Master’s of Divinity degree from St Meinrad Seminary, IN. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Rockville Center, Long Island, NY on 1 Apr 1978 by Bishop John R. McGann. He served as a curate, administrator and parish pastor in the diocese.
On 10 Dec 2004 was named Honorary Prelate to Pope John Paul II. with the title of Monsignor.
On 3 Apr 2007 Pope Benedict XVI appointed Msgr. Libasci Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Center, NY. Bishop Libasci was the 9th Auxiliary Bishop named in the 50 year history of the Diocese of Rockville Center.
Bishop Libasci is bi-ritual and celebrates the Divine Liturgy in the Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic Church.
H.H. Pope Benedict XVI appointed Bishop Libasci as the 10th Bishop of Manchester, NH on 19 Sep 2011. He is the shepherd of more than a quarter million Catholics in New Hampshire.
