Mrs Elizabeth Ann (Bruce) Roads, LVO, Snawdoun Herald of Arms in Ordinary, Secretary of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle, and SSA Fellow
Mrs. Roads was appointed as Snawdoun Herald in December 2010 by the Lord Lyon, David Sellar. Formerly she had been Carrick Pursuivant from 1992. Until she retired in July 2018 Mrs. Roads held the position of Lyon Clerk and Keeper of the Records. She was appointed by HM the Queen to the position of Secretary to the Order of the Thistle 1 February 2014. Mrs. Roads was elected a Fellow of the Society of Scottish Armigers 4 December 2012. dqw 2015 0601
