Quarterly: 1st Paly of six Or and Sable (for Atholl)
2nd, Or a fess chequy Azure and Argent (for Stewart)
3rd, Argent on a bend Azure three stags’ heads cabossed Or (for Stanley)
4th, Gules three legs in armour Proper garnished and spurred Or
Flexed and conjoined in triangle at the upper part of the thigh (for the Isle of Man )
Overall in center point: an inescutcheon Azure three mullets Argent within a
double tressure flory counterflory Or ensigned of a marquess’s coronet (for Murray)
Overall in chief: a label of three points Azure (for the elder son and heir to the Dukedom)

Michael Bruce John Murray, was born in Louis Trichardt, South Africa to the Duke of Atholl and his wife Lynne Elizabeth Andrew ( married 1984 ) as the elder son and heir in 1985. As the heir, Michael Murray holds the courtesy title of Marquess of Tullibardine.
He has a younger brother Lord David Murray born in 1986 and sister Lady Nicole Murray born in 1987.
