Bishop Matthew Francis Brady
ARMS: Argent issuant from dexter chief a sun in splendour gules and issuant from sinister base a cubit arm proper sleeved sable the hand pointing at the sun.

Bishop Brady born 15 Jan 1893 in Waterbury, CT, he was Ordained on10 June 1916 by Bishop Nilan of Hartford. Elected by Pope Pius XI to be Bishop of Burlington, VT, on 30 July 1938, he was Consecrated on the 26 Oct 1938 by Archbishop Cicognani, Apostolic Delegate to the US.
Brady was transferred to the See of Manchester, NH, on 11 Nov 1944 as its Fifth Bishop. He died at age 66 on 20 Sep 1959, and was a bishop for nearly 20 years with 15 years as the Bishop of Manchester. dqw 20101013
