Arms: Per fess Argent and Vert, in chief on a barrulet wavy Azure a herring drifter Sable, and in base three lambs gambolling proper.

Mrs. Yvonne Watson Holton née Lamb, was born in 1959, has a BA [Hons] in Arts and Design from Edinburgh College of Art in 1982, with a post graduate year in silver-smithing in 1983. She married 18 Feb 1984 Derek Holton. Mrs. Holton started working as a Lyon Court Artist in 1990 and was appointed Herald Painter at the Court of the Lord Lyon on 10 Jan 2005.

Mrs. Holton was appointed Dingwall Pursuivant of Arms on 20 June 2011.

In 2012 she the winner of the Moffarts Prise for Heraldic Arts.

The most recent previous holder of the office Herald Painter was Miss Jennifer Mitchell

The most recent previous holder of the office of Dingwall Pursuivant was Charles John Burnett appointed in 29 Dec 1983 which office he held until appointed Ross Herald in 1988.
