Alexander Haig, 3rd Earl Haig

Arms: Azure a saltire between two mullets in chief and base, and a decrescent and increscent in fess argent.

He succeeded to the Earldom in 2009 and is also the 31st Laird of Bemersyde.

His grandfather, Field Marshal Rt Hon the Earl Haig, KT, OM, etc., was the principal military leader of Great Britain’s armies in WW1.
