John Duncan of Sketraw, a living armiger, born in 1953 fulfills a number of important functions in the Heraldic Community,
he is the webmaster of the of the Websites for the Heraldry Society of Scotland (HSS) and for the Society of Scottish Armigers (SSA) and also of the HSS Forum. He is also a Director and webmaster of the Burke’s Peerage and Gentry International Register of Arms ( Armorial Register ), fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and Chairman of the Clan Duncan Society. Additionally, he was kind enough to help set up the Wedvick Armorial within the SSA site and instructed us in its use for which we are forever grateful.
