Through our uncle by marriage, Francis Thomas Donahue, we are honored to be able to call him kissin’ cousin. ( see Francis Donahue's file ) We have in our possession a very sharp photograph of Bishop Horstmann unveiling a memorial monument to President McKinley on 30 September 1907, amongst the VIPs in the front row was the sitting President, Theodore Roosevelt.

We wish to thank and credit the courtesy of the Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, for permission to copy and use the text of the blazon and the image pertaining to the arms of Bishop Horstmann as background information.

The artwork is a rendering by John Hamilton Gaylor.
