Here we have SSA Board Member Col William P Boswell of Toberchurn being presented with the Brevet of a Knight of the Order of St Sylvester. Founded in 1841, it is a Vatican/Pontifical State Order of Merit awarded by the Pope.
It was formally presented at an event in Portugal on September 27 in the Domis Pacis in Fatima by the Diocesan Chancellor. Col Boswell is wearing the black uniform of the Order of St. Sylvester.
