Fraser of Ledeclune 2

Bookplate of the of the Fraser of Ledeclune Baronets lightly late 19th century as the artist was John Leighton who actively designed bookplates between 1849 and 1912.
Of interest here is the fact of the family motto of the Frasers of Lovat “Je Suis Prest” ( I am ready ) encircles the shield in the manner of mottos of British knighthoods.
