02. Chatillon
Châtillon, Gaucher V de, comte de Porcien, Lord of Crèvecoeur,
b.Circa. 1249 in the reign of St. Louis ( Louis IX, King of France, 1226-1270 )

Connétable de France 1302-1329. ( Commander in chief, under the king,
with the marshals coming under him )

He served as Connétable under five kings,
or six kings if one counts Jean I the Posthumous ( 1316-1316 who lived only a few days ).

Philip IV (1285-1314), who appointed Châtillon Connétable de France in 1302,
Louis X (1314-1316),
Jean 1 (1316-1316),
Philip V (1316-1322),
Charles IV ( 1322-1328)
Philip VI (1328-1350) Châtillon died in 1329, about age 80.

Arms: Gules three pales Vair, a chief Or.
Or If you prefer the French: De gu. à trois pals de vair: au chef d’or.
