SOURCE, NOTES & CREDITS: Source for blazon: BGA, edition of 1884, reprint 1989, page 63, column one. Costanza of Castile was recognized as the de jure Queen of Castile so the arms are shown as Castile impaled by Lancaster ( the kingdom by the dukedom ... ).

John and Constance had one daughter, Catalina, (1372-1418 )
who married Enrique III of Castile (1379-1406 ) from whom followed the royal line of Spain.

The artwork is a rendition of John Hamilton Gaylor.
