Unicorn gone from Buckingham Palace gate
|
On 1 October 2019 a contract delivery truck struck the unicorn from the Royal Arms on the Gate of Buckingham Palace which had been in place for over 100 years. Designed by Walter Gilbert and Louis Weingarten the gates and railings of the Palace were installed in 1911. An awfully sad incident indeed.
