Arms: Or a chevron Murrey, between three falcons stooping Azure, armed, langued and beaked Murrey

a crescent Argent, within a bordure engrailed Azure charged with three crescents Argent for difference.

The arms with this difference was later dropped in favor of those used on a set of Letters Patent from Lyon Office dated 30 May 2000:

John Charles Grossmith George was born 15 Dec 1930 the eldest son of Colonel E. H. George, OBE, WS and Rosa Mary Grossmith.

He served on the staff of the College of Arms in England from 1963 to 1972
where he assisted at the State Funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965 and was the Green Staff Officer at the Investiture of the Prince of Wales in 1969.

He was appointed Garrioch Pursuivant to the Countess of Mar 1976 serving
there until sometime in 1986. In 1986 he was then appointed Kintyre Pursuivant at Lyon Court serving there until sometime in 2000. He was then appointed Linlithgow Pursuivant at Lyon Court in 2001 serving there until sometime in 2005.

He was a recipient of the Papal Order of St. Gregory the Great in 2002 and
married on 13 May 1972 Margaret Mary Maria Mercedes, daughter of Major E.H. Weld. John Charles Grossmith George died on 20 May 2012, at age 81.
