Blazon: Issuant from an astral crown Or a lion sejant guardant Sable armed and langued Or holding in the sinister forepaw a sword enflamed as in the arms.

Sir Arthur William Tedder, GCB, 1st Baron Tedder was born on 11 July 1890 at Glenguin Distillery (now Glengoyne ) North of Glasgow. He had a distinguished career
In the RAF and died Arthur William Tedder, 1st Baron Tedder died on 3 June 1967, at age 76 almost 77.

His son John Michael Tedder, was 2nd Baron (1926-1994), His son in turn, Robin John Tedder is the current and 3rd Baron (b 1955 - ) Robin’s heir is the Hon. Benjamin John Tedder
( b 1986 - )
