Mr. Mejia, and the illustration by the artist of the Cronista de Armas was used as

Luis Javier Mejia Llano, born in 1951, of a family who lived in Columbia, SA for almost three centuries after emigrating from Spain along with 28 other families. These families stayed together frequently intermarrying over the decades and centuries. Mr. Mejia is an investment banker in New York City. He is a Knight of the Constantinian Order of St. George, Madrid; and had his arms Certified by Don Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent on the 18 of January 2001, protocol 2/2001 Folios 113-119 in the archives of the Cronista de Armas. The Certification of Arms was countersigned, sealed and dated 19 January 2001 by Carmen Guljarro Gonzalez, Sub-Secretary of the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Spain.

Luis, a good friend, resides in Connecticut with his wife.
