John Beaufort

Arms: Per pale argent and azure on a bend gules three lions passant guardant Or,
a label azure of three points each charged with three fleur-de-lis Or.

The arms shown and blazoned above were given to him as an illegitimate son.

John Beaufort, 1373-1410 was the eldest son, born out of wedlock, to John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster by Lady Katherine Swynford his mistress. ( See their entries )
