Arms: Quarterly, 1st, az. a lymphad at anchor or, flagged gu., sails furled arg., oars erect sa., within a double tressure-flory-counter-flory of the second (for Earldom of ORKNEY); 2nd and 3rd, or, a lion rampant gu., armed and langued az., (for SPARR-NITHSDALE); 4th, az. a three-masted ship or, flagged gu., under sail arg. (for Earldom of CAITHNESS); over all a cross engrailed and counterchanged arg. and sa. (for SINCLAIR).

CREST: A cock ppr., armed and beaked or.

SUPPORTERS: Two griffins gu., wings elevated, armed, beaked and winged or.

MOTTO: Commit thy work to God.

STANDARD: Az., a St. Andrew's cross arg. in the hoist and of four tracts or, az., arg. and gu., upon which is depicted the crest in the 1st compartment, the 1st badge in the second compartment, the 2nd badge in the 3rd compartment and the 3rd badge in the 4th compartment, along with the motto 'Commit thy work to God' in letters gu. upon the three transverse bands arg.
