SOURCE, NOTES & CREDITS:

Source for blazon: Rendered by D.Q. Wedvick, re-worked by J.H. Gaylor, from the illustration in the Spanish Certification of Arms, issued by Don Alfonso de Ceballos-Escalera y Gila, Marques de la Floresta, dated 3 September 1991, countersigned and sealed by the Ministry of Justice on 19 September 1991. This was updated with the advent of the promotion of Guy Sainty to Bailiff Grand Cross of the Constantinian Order.

Guy Sainty, born in England in 1950, is an art dealer living in France and is the author of numbers of books, amongst which are: “The Orders of Saint John”, Venerable Order, New York 1991; “The Orders of Chivalry and Merit of the Bourbon Two Sicilies Dynasty”, SMCOSG, Madrid, 1989; and more recently he was the editor of “World Orders of Knighthood and Merit”, Burke’s Peerage, London, 2006. Guy Sainty is the Vice-Chancellor of the Sacred and Military Constantinian Order of St. George and we feel fortunate to know him and to call him a friend.
