Crest: An arm in armour gauntleted Proper charged on the gauntlet with a crescent Gules holding a branch of holly consisting of seven leaves Proper fructed Gules

Mottos: In an Escrol above the shield the motto: HAUD ULLIS LABENTIA VENTIS and in an Escrol below the shield the motto: SUB SOLE SUB UMBRA VIRENS

Matriculation: Recorded on the 73rd page of the 91st Volume of the Public Register of All Arms and Bearings in Scotland on 27 April 1911

Rupert Christopher Irving, born in 1958, is a company director, married Jane Macdonald Mitchell in 1998 and has issue by her of two sons, Ruaraidh Alec and Fraser Robert and an only daughter, Catherine Rose. He is the eldest son of Robert Alec Snow Irving, sometime Captain, Royal Navy. The armiger is a resides in Roxburghshire, Scotland. dqw 2013 0407
