It has been brought to our attention that Iona Mary Colquhoun Campbell, Dowager Duchess of Argyll died on 22nd February 2024. The funeral will be private, to be followed by a service of thanksgiving in Inveraray at a later date.
Iona’s late husband, Ian Campbell, the 12th Duke of Argyll, was a member of the executive committee of the SCSC for many years. She attended many of the social events connected to the Standing Council over the years. She was extremely well known amongst the overseas clan network.
