06. Lyon King of Arms to the Order of the Thistle

Arms: Parted per fess enhanced Or and Purpure three piles conjoined in point all charged in chief the centre one with a maunch and the outer ones each with a long cross all counterchanged.
Reverend Canon Dr. Joseph John Morrow, CBE, KStJ, QC, DL, PhD, LLD was appointed as the Lord Lyon King of Arms in 2014 and as such became the current Lyon King of Arms to the Order of the Thistle. He is a member of the Faculty of Advocates and hold degrees in Theology and Law.
