The 222nd VCA Annual Dinner on 21 Jan 2012.
The Veteran Corps of Artillery, State of New York ( VCA or VCASNY ) founded in 1790 is one of eight Historic Military Commands recognized by the US Governament, is the Honor Guard for the Governor of the State of New York and whose members have served in all American Wars since 1776 to the present.
The venue: Ft. Hamilton Army Base beneath the Brooklyn end of the Veranzano Bridge from NYC to Staten Island. Ft. Hamilton is an active Army Installation, which we see here through the flood lit main gate at night. The security at the gate was tight with IDs being closely checked.
