John Mauk Hilliard was born in 1945 and is a holder of the Degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Eastern New Mexico University. President of The Saint Andrew’s Society of New York, Chief of the New York Caledonian Club, he resides in Portales, New Mexico, USA. Hilliard was for 35 years an Administrator at Lehman College of the City University of New York from which he retired a few years ago. He is active in a number of societies such as: the Sons of American Colonists, the Aztec Club of 1847 and the St. Nicholas Society of New York. He is an Episcopalian and is active in several lay organizations of that church.
