They “Named That Laird” correctly in emails to your editor. The laird was
Sir James Haliburton of Pitcur 1556-1619 son of Sir George Haliburton of Pitcur
Both gentlemen named the laird before any clues were uploaded so they must have been familiar with the coat of arms.
